As of today, a 19 year old geek has a rollerskate.

It turns out he can drive a stick too. o.o

In other news, I would be a happier person if I could avoid Anne Coulter's crazy*. She's just awful and I'd rather ignore her.

Let's follow these two statements up with a question:

What is the defining activity of your last summer? I was on the work schedule of doom so I was probably not there for it.

PS: Because there just isn't enough random crap in this post: Can someone make this an icon for me? *anime eyes* Edit: DONE! Thanks peeps!

*No, not going to give a link because it just spreads it. If you go looking it's your own damn fault.

I've been really bad this week at keeping up on LJ. Did I miss good stuff? Please help redeem my lameness if I missed something important.

In other news, it turns out my car was broken this month because the Factoria Shell people left their diagnostic crap inside my car. Niiiice.

A few bits. I'm feeling depressed and out of sorts today-- I don't feel like getting into it right now. Maybe later. Maybe privately. Dunno.

- I got an ice scraper and freed my car after some looking. I took my first drive in a snowstorm last night. It was beautiful and scary. Snow is a curious, cold thing to me. I've only been in an active snowstorm maybe three times ever. I visit snow --It's not supposed to visit me.

- I heard back regarding my ticket. It was $101 bucks to pay off, but for a $150 administration fee, they will defer it for a year and then remove it from my record. I'll take that option. My car insurance bill showed up. eee.

- If you feel like it, please comment below with some pickup lines -- Good, bad, ugly, don't care. It's for a project I'm starting; I need 50ish when I'm done.

PS: That's some mighty fine milk.

I encountered a black and white cat named George at about 11:10 last night. George is not a smart cat, as evidenced by the fact I met him as he jumped onto the hood of my car*... as I was in the middle of parallel parking. George is also not a thin cat. He didn't budge while I finished wiggling my car in (I hit the curb too since I had to scrabble around on the passenger seat to put my heart back in my chest). Then he and I had a bit of a late night talk. His human came by (who was looking for him... George is also not an outside cat typically) and picked up his furry butt and took him home. I wonder if it was the warm hood on a cold night, the need for company, or the salmon I had in my car?

In hindsight, it's pretty funny.

I got to bed very late, thanks to Chuzzle, a popcap game. Damn you [livejournal.com profile] avisionaire!

PS: I've Samhained my journal. I also just turned Samhain into a verb.

*Please note, earlier this same evening a friend of mine was telling me about a nightmare he had about corpses hitting windshields....

I went through an insurance broker in Bellevue and will end up paying $85/month in car insurance, even with their "I'm a broker!" fee. I am pleased, considering online quotes were giving me ~$100 (Geico)-$150 (State Farm) a month. I am under 25 and didn't have insurance in the last 6 months (or a car for that matter) so there was a double whammy to get around. On the bright side, my driving record is super clean.

Yay, now I am actually driving LEGALLY. o.o

Ironically, between the insurance for 6 months and some maintanence work it needs, I'll be paying more than I am for the car. ;)

I really want to do something tonight. However, due to the above I am flatass-stopped-at-QFC-for-10/$10 TV dinners-broke. Meh. MMORPG's continue to be inexpensive and easily accessable entertainment. The character I am interested in playing though is in the level 20s slouch and it's so pretty outside...

Turns out the car needs new treads. I found this out as I slid backwards down the freeway enterance. That was scary!
