spazzychic: (broke)
So I went rather promptly from "saving up for a wedding" to "saving up for a wedding while being generally immobile and with new and shiny medical bills."

I wanted to do a few fundraisers as I saved up anyway, and now suddenly seems like a great time. :)

So this is where I write for money!!! Here is what I propose:

1: Donate a dollar amount to my PayPal account. $5, $10, $15, whatever.
2: In your donation, give me a topic to write on.
3: I will write a blog post about whatever topic you choose. I will state your name as the donator person in the post unless you tell me not to.
4: Whatever I earn will either pay the deductible on my busted knee or go into savings for the wedding, depending on what my resources are at the time.

I will write on anything and everything, but I get to choose the filters... in some cases, it might be a filter of just you (we call that email).

You will then assist me in maintaining my sanity while stuck on this couch and/or bed for the next week or so, and you're also a patron of the arts or something. :)

What's going on tonight? Anything?

My mouth got jabbed a lot by a dentist so I don't know how motivated I am, but I am curious.

Today I learned how to determine the Fair Market Value of a used personal aircraft.

My boyfriend's office is in the midst of a multi-floor Nerf War. Awesome.

PS: I was reminded last night that one can still do bonfires on Alki beach. This seems like a plan in the making for the Spring.
spazzychic: (nekopan!)
I was up until 4am talking brain things with people. Success was accomplished. The Merc was not. I will atone for my sins at the Bacon Party tonight.

Paranoia was freakin awesome last night. We played for 3.5ish hours and 3.5 deaths (+3 bot deaths) and we didn't even get to the mission yet. :D

Today, if I did everything there is to do, I'd go from work, to Sushi, to an Abney Park Concert, to the Mercury and then fall over ded until I play D&D on Saturday. Sunday is a date.

And now I don't have any more Ipod for people to steal, my work location has already been tweaked, and George W Bush isn't President at all this month.

They're playing in Seattle again!!!

Heaven Nightclub
172 S. Washington St.
Seattle, WA 98104
$15 in advance/$17 at the door

Not sure when doors open...8-9pm would be a safe guesstimate.

If you like these guys or Steam Punk cancel whatever other plans you had and come see them!
This isn't your typical concert since almost everyone is in fantastic garb, the crowd is good natured (no moshing or foolishness) and band members mill about and and chat with folks. They're quite friendly.
Oh...and they are HI-LARIOUS and encourage audience participation.

Last time they had a Steam Punk market set up in a seperate room. There were some very nice trinkets too. So that'll possibly happen again.

I do believe I will be there. :D

They put on a strong show. :D

Who is going to see Avenue Q at the Paramount? When?

Curious and soon government-bribed.

Dude. This just strikes me as cool, at some inexplicable level.

Woot! Fremont Outdoor Movie Schedule!

I'm going to totally catch some of those if I can.

For those who live outside the greater Western Washington Area...

Have a weiner dog race slide show.

Holy crap.

I have plans every single day from now until Jan 2nd, 2008 except for December 23rd. I have tentative plans that day to do absolutely nothing except Chuck. If Chuck falls through, I'll just do nothing instead.

Amber

PS: Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] fritters and [livejournal.com profile] nekosama37!

I went to reserve a room for March and I got this message (along with the best current rate):

Please note that the group rate you requested is unavailable. Available rates are displayed below.

Room rates shown are per room, per night. Click the rate to view complete rate details for your pending stay. To see a full description and photos for select rooms, click the room type.

149.00 USD 2 QUEEN BEDS WITH BALCONY-NONSMOKING

Please keep this in mind if you're slacktastic like me. At this point, if you have 6+ people, a family suite might work out as less than two rooms (max allowed in a single room is 5). I am not sure about this since I can't seem to get the website to give me pricing on it (might need to call? Might be sold out?)

If you would like to give me your address for holiday-related lovin', or have just changed it since the last time I had it, please comment below.

Comments are screened.

No, I have no idea what holiday-related lovin' entails yet.

PS: So I began my "It's COMING!" To Do list and then meeped and hid.

Thanksgiving is about a week away.

WTF? Turkeys don't have stealth!

On that note, what are you doing for it?

Me, no freakin' clue.

I am anxious and tired today after a tossy turny night followed by an early morning, but being on a laptop in the middle of a Pirate store helps a whole ton. There is a pirate dangling from the ceiling mere feet from my head.

I'm off the ship and in LA now for part two of my crazy adventure. Things which are on the list in a vague haven't-talked-to-all-parties sort of way:

-Scorpio Party in black and scarlet.

- Donut tasting event with new and old friends.

- Catalina Island mayhaps.

- A Pirate King 2nd edition (board strategy game with Pirates!) release party at this here Pirate store (Enchanted Deva's Last Wish Revenge 'N Treasures). If my earth monies allow and the game rocks, I'll try to bring a copy back with me.

- Petting of kittehs.

Last poll question snagged in part from [livejournal.com profile] scarlettina, for she is smart and creative and well versed in the ways of con.

PPS: No love for the pool Horses.

Just throwing this out at random...

Does anyone have large, clunky, big stoned, ugly ass costume jewelry that I can borrow for Saturday? I am part of a murder mystery that night (here's hoping I'm well enough!) where I am playing a very rich spinster with no discernible sense of fashion. Ohh, if someone has a hat of the same ilk that would be cool also.

Hookay back to bed,

I was downtown today with [livejournal.com profile] aprivatefox. We were recipients of not only one, but TWO free hugs from people holding signs outside of Westlake Center. This makes me happy on many levels. :)

I must go on my very own "Free Hugs" campaign. I shall. :)

Come to think of it, I shall next weekend. Sunday afternoon... Seattle Center? Starting at 2ish until whenever? Who wants to come?
