So yeah, I'm looking for an icon for my current GURPS character and I can't find anything that fits this criteria:

- female
- skinny/gangly
- human (elves abound!)
- unkempt middle ages peasant type
- blond, short hair
- archer/ranger
- NOT almost naked :P

Doesn't anyone draw scruffy tomboy archer women anymore?

Anyone know where I could find something that fits this?

In The Know: Is The Government Spying On Paranoid Schizophrenics Enough?

With an amazing thunderstorm, Seattle's summer has ended. Yes, I know it's not fall yet but for all intents and moisture we've lost our sun. I find I don't mind. I enjoyed the thunderstorm thoroughly; even the part when zagumus and I were silly enough to stand out on my metal-covered balcony and watch the lightning strikes. Some pics someone took from Alki Beach. One is my desktop background now. :D

I ran the first part (and longest part) of my Mage game. Besides the fact I was fairly inconsistant with what skill+ability to roll for stuff (but at least kept them appropriate to the situations) it seemed like everyone had fun. Now to figure out how to get the engineer to stop tinkering in his hotel room and come out to play. ;) I look forward to next week! Story writing time! :D

By now, 95% of anyone reading this is totally confused. Suffice then that a couple dear friends did something for me that made me squee all over. :D

I'm more awake after accomplishing a few things at work and mocking my weekend co-worker for being hung over (in the nicest way).

Things go well. I have an application and a holding deposit down on an apartment on Mercer Island (Two bedroom for $1,100 a month on freakin Mercer Island!). The commute to anywhere from there is fantastic, it's a really pretty, quiet area, and I can totally infiltrate the snooty people. :D I hope I get it. I should hear tomorrow or Tuesday. gaelfarce, my future roommate, is currently in Europe so it's kinda cool that he'll come back and he has no idea where his house is. ;) If I don't get that one, I have a backup plan, which is a 2 bedroom U district apartment for $975/mo but less awesome.

My boooooyfrrrrriend remains toe-curlingly fantastic. Every. Freakin'. Day.

The GURPS game is drawing to a close soon. Awwww. But I'll be STing a short, 4-5 session Mage game. That'll be rad. I have prep to do!

I adore my Mortal Tears character but after this next weekend's short event I'm going to put her aside for a bit. I don't want to burn out and she takes a HELL of a lot of bandwith to roleplay properly.

I'm going to be back with the Vicarious Theater Company the first weekend in August doing RHPS again. I miss it and that hot, hot theater. You should go. :D

I have a post in my head somewhere. I start to write a few sentences but then it flits away or the phone rings or any other of a myriad of things that stops the words from coming out.

I am not in any of the pics (including the Satyr Handler) because I was elsewhee at the time, but all the photos are freakin' sweet. I was THERE and I didn't see some of the costumes in the photo set so they must have been elusive. I wish I'd seen the Vorlon costume in person... fie!
