Expect single-lane closures on state Route 202 from 192nd Avenue Northeast to Sahalee Way Northeast 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

Expect multiple-lane closures on westbound Interstate 90 from Bellevue Way Southeast to 76th Avenue Southeast 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. and the westbound I-90 to Island Crest Way off ramp 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday. Expect the city of Mercer Island to conduct intermittent lane and shoulder closures near the East Mercer Way and on I-90 onramps and off ramps 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday.

Expect single-lane closures on eastbound state Route 518 from 51st Avenue South to Interstate 5 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. Expect single-lane closures on northbound Airport Expressway near Route 518 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday. Expect full closure of Southcenter Boulevard from 42nd to 52nd avenues south through Aug. 30.

Expect single-lane closures on state Route 900 at Sunset Boulevard Northeast 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at Northeast Park Drive 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday. Expect full closures of Route 900 from Lake Washington Boulevard North to Sunset Boulevard Northeast 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. eastbound Monday and westbound Tuesday, and from I-405 to Harrington Avenue Northeast 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. eastbound Wednesday and westbound Thursday. Expect ramp closures on Route 900 at I-405 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. Expect crews to alternate traffic onto one lane on Benson Road South, one-half-mile south of City Hall in Renton 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday. Expect crews to alternate traffic onto one lane on state Route 169 (Maple Valley Highway) from I-405 to Cedar Grove Road northbound 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Thursday and southbound 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Thursday night.

Expect crews to close either the northbound or southbound state Route 169 (Valley Freeway) near South 196th Street to 218th Place Southeast 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday.

Expect congestion near Safeco Field 7 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for Mariners games.

Expect single-lane closures of westbound South Dearborn Street at I-5 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday.

Expect full closure of the I-90 express lanes 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.

Expect full closure of eastbound Route 900 near South Boeing Access Road 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

Wilburton Tunnel work means lane closures on I-405 next month

WSDOT is widening I-405 between 112th Ave. S.E.and S.E. Eighth Street as part of a larger I-405 widening project in South Bellevue . To make room for more southbound I-405 lanes in south Bellevue , construction crews will remove the Wilburton Tunnel (just north of the I-405/I-90 interchange) next month. That means we’ll need to close a section of southbound I-405 from S.E. 8th Street to I-90 over three consecutive weekends in August.

Here’s the closure schedule.

11 p.m., Friday, Aug. 8 to 5 a.m., Monday Aug. 11

11 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15 to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 18

11 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22 to 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 25

Since I'm in town next week and I'm lazy, do you know if any of those would affect traffic to the airport?

Depends on what your route is. Some of them might. 405 is a route to the airport, but I5 can be taken also but getting there might take a bridge which has construction on it...

I'll have to plan on leaving earlier, then. I think I'm going to grab a cab back to the airport anyway -- at least it won't be my foot on the brake the whole way there.
