New computer, some assembly required.

I have some nifty new computer parts, and my old computer*, which combined will create a new computer which doesn't suck yayyyy! I also discovered that modern computers glow for no apparent reason. o.o
Anyway, if I can put the computer bits together, get the thing to work enough to install a bunch of drivers, and get the wireless network to work net, I should be back online from home either Monday or Tuesday. Shiny!
If I am not online by then, it either means I got really busy, chased a butterfly somewhere, or I broke all my new shiny computer parts and I'm sitting in the middle of the floor surrounded by twisted plastic sniffling woefully.
I am hoping it's as easy as my geek friends say it is, though it was recommended that I back up all my data somewhere and format the hard drives so the Windows Registry doesn't clunk. I have no current means of doing this, but I'll work on it later.
Gawd, I've been all over the internet today and not getting work done. Aieee!

*Yes, I went and got it.
