More shifting and rummaging

I had a great time grocery shopping last night. I can't remember the last time I needed to stock a kitchen from ZERO foods (not even an odd can of no-one-remembers stuck in the back corner). My goal this time is to pick up 80%+ perishable or semi-perishable foods that I will need to eat (at home!) in a timely fashion and are reasonably healthy and then 20% everything else.
ironymaiden pointed me towards the Ballard Market, which was also having an Oraganics Sale this week. I enjoyed the wandering and sampling, and my budget yielded fruits, veggies, salads in a bag, organic bread, milk, and juices, some frozen dinners, wheat pastas and frozen organic ravioli (garlic and gorganzola and wild mushroom pasta FTW), organic pasta sauce, natural butter, eggs, cereal, cheese, peanut butter and jelly, a single serving of merlot and other misc beverages. I wasn't hungry when I got home and I was dissapointed I couldn't eat something right then. I didn't buy any meat except in the frozen dinners, but not on purpose. *shrug*
Thanks for Miz Maiden of Irony for also helping me outfit the kitchen with other needed appliances, pitchers, and other non-breakable useful things.
So after:
A cruise, my rent deposit clearing the bank, $400ish in computer parts, a used but newish mattress/boxsprings, a featherbed, and a bed in a bag all on clearance, moving stuff around in a U Haul, groceries, and going out 2 nights with friends...I have run out of money. Woot for getting paid three times this month! It only happens once or twice a year with the once-every-two-weeks cycle, and it was further supplimented by a couple generous friends *loves!*. I have a free metal bed frame courtesy of Freecycle I'm arranging, and then that just leaves a few finishing touches for the IKEA (yay gift card I won!) run Monday. Lots of providence, wow.
I feel hella accomplished. Work is being somewhat pesky, but the overtime means I can take care of other miscellaney (odd things like knives, scotch tape, scrubbies... wedding present, bridal shower present...car payment...okgonnastopnow) next check.
