elona last night for dinner and tasty chai. I gave her papers which were mostly redundant and we chatted about stuff and things. It was good. I drove her home, which makes her the first passenger in the car. I was nervous but did not ACTUALLY run into anything (I did kill the engine once...first time doing that too :P).
I got home in time to complete a MMORPG task I've been working on and off for quite a while. For those familiar, I got the Archmage accolade in CoH on my 'troller. Anyway, the last bit only took about 30 minutes. The small steps to victory for the semi-casual MMOer.
I participated in a M:TG draft from 10pm to a little after 1am. I came in dead center, as usual, #4 out of 7. I really liked my deck idea, but it was too dependent on cards I only had one ofs. But dang, when I got the cards it annoyed the crap outta people. I am going to see if I can somehow tweak the theme into a more consistant casual standard deck. I wish I had more fun with it than I did. It was really no one's fault but my own that I didn't have as much fun, and it took a while repeating that fact to myself before I fell asleep. I like to learn lessons through trivial things like Magic instead of ending up in a pitched battle with myself when it really matters.
The rest of the week is very full, which has been rare with the summer schedule wonkiness. Tonight, I am continuing our tabletop game since people have plans on the usual Monday. Tomorrow nightcraziecory is throwing a party which I intend to go to for a bit before needing sleep because I work Saturday. Saturday is probably a date night for Steve and I. Sunday is Indigo Girls with monkey0science!~ Monday is where the tabletop sesson was but is now not. There is stuff in the works for Tuesday, then there's Fireworks, and then Wednesday I have off because of the holiday to rest, clean house, and snooze.
Snoozing sounds so good right now. Omg.
