Spoiler Warnings

Is there a period of time after which a spoiler warning is not needed? For example, is a spoiler warning needed when discussing Romeo and Juliet? How about Evangeleon, which came out about a decade or so ago (and the reason for my question... been pondering the part of the series I have seen so far, but will not discuss it with anyone until I am done with it)?

I think after a few months/1 yr its ok.

btw i still have yet to see evangelion. I REALLY want to, but I have only ever seen bits of epis and a few random ones. heh, I dont even know exactly what its about. :)

I am most of the way through it and I couldn't tell you exactly what it's about. I recommend watching it. :)

It did, however, play hell with my mood at some points.
