Reaquainting

Life is always changing. Folks who are healthy grow and change through the circumstances of their lives. Situations are changing constantly.

Memories are only so useful.

I feel like I have a lot of reaquainting to do. I've working off of an obsolete map of the world. People have changed. Places have changed. Relationships have changed. It's lazy to work off of assumptions in general, but when things have shifted while I wasn't looking, it's flat harmful.

This includes assumptions about myself, and the labels that get stuck to things.

It's a think, on it's way to a thought. It's perhaps the first step in the process of letting go. Again. For the first time. ;) Reconnect where one can, based in truth.

Live every moment of life; hold onto none.

My current moment is an extremely busy work day-- I just wanted to jot down something before it gets lost.

PS: Admirable wisdom from a nearby corner of the internet: "I have discovered that defining ones self in others gives you a shifting definition, and one cannot build on sand. Nor can I be defined by the individual parts that make me up. Doing so focuses too much on the small pieces that make me up, and give too much strength to my negatives.
