"Women control their families and communities and when that structure is broken down, women are vulnerable, weak, easily exploited by insurgents,".
There is a really odd sexism at play I suppose. We have not seen many examples of people's desire to rehabilitate male insergants...it's that sense that when a woman goes out to kill dozens of people, she doesn't really mean it.
There is something to be said that a woman in Iraqi society IS less able to make decisions, but why does that same standard not apply to males who grow up indoctrinated into a system that tells them munipulating women/ blowing themselves and others up is a good idea?
