I have heard of THIS! Here in Burbank there's a 50% chance that the Squirrel you are toying with is rabid... this not only makes it an extreme sport but lots more fun!

Where did you hear THAT? Last I heard rabies was pretty much wiped out locally??

A couple of years ago they ( City of Burbank) had to close my favorite hiking park due to rabid squirrles. That's what they told us ( the public) anyway.

They probably weren't rabid. It was just their bicentennial chess tournament.
