I pretend I'm not playing until they let their guard down and then I get them upside the head when they're not looking. Also, if you say something like "CUT IT OUT YOU ARE SO EFFING IMMATURE" And then you GET 'EM.
Only if the ninjas are surprised. If a ninja surprises a pirate and stabby stabs or anything of the like before the pirate can react... well, he's SOL.
My fighting style most of all is to evade or avoid an actual conflict because once people get all emotional and swingy and batty, there isn't as much that can be accomplished and I really liked that lamp dammit!
But more understanding can be accomplished with words than blows, so words at my weapon of choice.
your timing is creepy as usual. I was just talking about how I have not been in a actual physical fight in a long time. It used to happen quite a bit when I was in the midwest and still in the habit of habits. Mostly I used to say that I would pick a guy picking on his girlfriend and beat up his fist with my face until neither of us could do it any more. The reality of it is that I got hurt most of the time but I tend to surprise people with my ability to take a beating and keep coming back up for more. I think people are used to TV and movie fights that end with a punch or two. My experience is that people get pretty busted up and keep trying to make it look like there is a winner but usually its just messy. on a side note: I wonder if the people that have hurt me in fights feel as badly as I do about those i've hurt either on purpose or accident and as to how i'd fight these days well... I think experience and treachery are fairly likely to beat down youth or skill alone, and i'm much more likely to try and talk my way out of things now
Depends on the situation. I have been known to get physical and I have been known to be passive-agressive. Mostly I hate any kind of fighting and would rather never have to do any of it again.
Passive aggressive fighting is the suck. I used to have a tendency towards it until I realized it just seemed like I was being bitchy for no reason and no one got that I was aggrieved. I find the direct route much handier.
I have massive amounts of weaponry. But I still prefer to fight with my mouth, because yelling is more fun.
However, if I needed to actually hurt something, it would be from behind cover, sniper-style... because, y'know, I just prefer to be the one who wins. :)

But pirates die with style.

Usually I'll fire at an arc. A nice spread makes for a great 'death from above' attack.
I so need a firefly icon <_<

If it comes to more, I scrap any way I have to.

Well, here's the thing.
Marian+ Caffeine = + wit and - sleep.
- Sleep + Marian = -wit.
It's a bad cycle. You can just skip it by getting more sleep. *nods*

There's something decidedly inelegant and not "you" about you brawling in my head. I blame personal growth. :)
Anyway, let me know what your schedule is like so we can try to drink coffee and ponder the meaning of life. :)

My dad is not a big dispenser of wisdom, but he did have this to say:
"Don't fight unless you have to. Ever. But if you must fight, win, and win decisively."
