Idunno, they both may be part of the "Me Heap Big!" idea.. but so are lots of things.
I, for one, remain convinced that rape and chivalry grow from the same garden, as they're both male responses to 'woman'+'status' - but you'll notice how far they've carried it.
If that's "the same coin", it's a few miles thick...
